Ceres Imaging is pleased to announce a new partnership with Evergreen FS, an agriculture supply, service and energy provider serving farmers in central Illinois. Together, we'll collaborate on research and product development in dry land row crops.
Headquartered in Bloomington, Evergreen FS serves farmers throughout central Illinois at the heart of the Corn Belt. Evergreen is a large and progressive agricultural retailer in the region, selling products like fertilizer, seed, and other supplies and providing services from agronomy and custom applications to grain storage and handling.
As part of the partnership, Ceres Imaging will deploy our proprietary technology in remote sensing and AI for integration with cutting-edge scouting and agronomic services from Evergreen FS. Research trials are planned in the central, northern, and western Corn Belt to develop new insights on precision management of certain diseases.
“As we continue to explore the latest technology in order to better serve our customers, we are looking forward to seeing the results of this project. Our goal is, and will always be, to utilize any and all tools at our disposal to better serve the producers in Central Illinois” said John Tuttle, CEO at Evergreen FS.
“AI is the future of farming when it comes to maximizing efficiency, yield and profitability across an operation,” said Ashwin Madgavkar, CEO and founder at Ceres Imaging. “We are excited for trials to get underway ... where so many area residents and businesses are fully immersed in the agriculture industry."
Both companies will be releasing findings and information observed in the trials over the next several months as we continue to analyze data.
